Etude House Color Lips Fit (Perfect Fit Red) – Review

Summer is coming to an end here in England ūüė¶ but I bought¬†one final summer lip tint which I’m going to review for you today. I received¬†Etude House Color Lips Fit in Perfect Fit Red from an Ebay seller BringBringShop¬†for ¬£4.49.

The lip tint comes with 10g of product which I think is quite a lot for the price that you’re paying. Although the name “Perfect Fit Red” suggests that this is¬†a red colour, it is not. Much like the promotion pictures, it is more of a dark hot pink with a red hue.

Doe-foot applicator

The doe-foot applicator allows the tint to be applied smoothly and evenly. The product itself has a really nice sweet fragrance. When applied on the lips this tint has a thin cream consistency which dries matte. I prefer to dab a bit of product in the middle of my lips and use my finger or a cotton swab to blend out the product and build up cover if necessary. This tint is also perfect if you like doing the gradient lip trend.

The lip tint has really good staying power and is non-drying if you wear a lip balm underneath. It lasts up to nearly 6 hours but I had to top up after eating if I wanted to maintain the opacity of the tint, it does fade to an even tint after around 8 hours which is still really¬†pretty. I do find that if I apply the tint as a full coverage lip-stick with the applicator it causes the colour to¬†bleed, so it’s best to apply this tint in layers.

Overall I’m very happy with this product. It is a cheap, long lasting, comfortable lip tint which can be used to give sheer or full coverage.

KIKO Milano Smart Lipstick – Review

Kiko Make Up Milano is an Italian brand that offers a line of professional make-up and cutting-edge face and body treatments. Having never tried or even heard of the brand before I decided to try a few of their lipsticks out.

As I was new to the brand and I was buying online I bought the cheapest lipstick range (Smart Lipstick) which is priced at £3.90 per lipstick. Initially I was searching for a pink and mauve colour that I could wear during the day so I opted for 913 Rosewood and 915 Mauve.

The packaging is sleek, matt, black and simple. It definitely does not look £3.90!

913 is a lovely pink colour that suits my dark skin tone perfectly and is my favourite of the two. I find that 915 is a little less pigmented and has a more metallic finish on my lips but is still very nice. The Smart Lipstick is super pigmented, super creamy, does not dry out your lips and lasts at least 4 hours without touching up.

Having tried these lipsticks I am 100% going to be buying a lot more from this brand, their lipsticks are a great value for money and are comparable in quality to lipsticks twice their price.

One thing to note is that the pictures on the website¬†appear darker than the lipstick is in real life so it’s best to Google for colour swatches before purchasing.
