Bio: Hi, my name is Jay and I'm a beauty junkie. I'm 26, a Londoner born and raised. My day job involves dealing with the Quality Assurance of cosmetics where I'm constantly building my knowledge on ingredients and product safety. I'm always looking for the newest cosmetics with the most potent ingredients to try and review for you guys. For me prevention is better than cure, so I look for products that will prevent premature ageing and long term damage. Outside of blogging and working, I love cooking, eating, gymming, travelling, reading, watching TV series/films oh and I'm a massive hip-hop head πŸ™‚ If you would you like to get in touch for PR/brand promotion you can email me at: justjaybeautyblog@gmail.com (Please note that I will only give HONEST reviews). Hope to hear from you soon! Jay x

  2. Hi have you tried the Nars radiant creamy concealer? If not you should try it out it’s full coverage and looks absolutely flawless under eyes it’s ‘cruelty free’ as well! Brie xx

    1. Hi Brie, I’ve been meaning to try it but I’ve read that it creases under the eyes and that’s something I struggle with quite a bit. I may have to buy it at some point πŸ™‚ Jay x

  3. Hi Jay! LOVE LOVE LOVE your reviews and have gone out and bought most of the stuff you recommend and have not been disappointed! Have you ever used a really great product that you’d recommend for older stretch marks? I have been in search for one like forever but never find any that really work. I’m realistic and know that I can’t get rid of them completely but to lighten them a bit to make them a lil less visible would be amazing. Much Love xxx

    1. Aww thanks Emma πŸ™‚ This comment made my day! I can’t say I’ve ever tried anything to fade stretch marks but I assume it works in the same way as fading any kind of scar. Personally I love using the Paula’s Choice 10% AHA weekly treatment (https://justjaybeauty.com/2015/03/08/paulas-choice-resist-weekly-resurfacing-treatment-10-aha-glycolic-acid/) for scars but I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older my skin just doesn’t regenerate as quickly as it did when I was a teen. Some of the things I’ve read that’s good for stretch marks are also retinol creams, microdermabrasion and bio-oil. I hope that helps! Jay x
