Hey loves! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I’ve been really busy with studying, work and just life in general. However, fret not, today I’m here with a first impression post!
For those that don’t know, Charlotte Tilbury is a British make-up artist who has worked on many high end fashion shows and supermodels. She released her own make-up range a few years ago and I’ve finally got my hands on some of her products.
When I first spotted Charlotte Tilbury’s make-up range on social media I was instantly intrigued by the beautiful packaging. However, being the skeptic that I am, I didn’t want to give into some marketing hype and spend excessive amounts of money on overpriced product ranges. So I waited it out. I did my research and as it turns out her products have been really well received by bloggers and non-bloggers alike.
Whilst perusing the website I found myself wanting to try a little but of everything but for my first haul I decided to try out three products. “The Dolce Vita” Luxury Eyeshadow Palette and two of the Matte Revolution lipsticks in “Glastonberry” and “Bond Girl”.
The Dolce Vita Luxury Palette
There are four colours in this quad. Prime which is an iridescent champagne colour, perfect for all over the lid and highlighting the brow bone. Enhance, a warm terracotta colour with a satin finish which is great for adding depth to the eyes. Smoke, a cool tone brown for smoking out the eyes, also satin finish. Finally, Pop, a stunning shimmery gold shade which is the star of this palette.
If you’re not a make-up person and there was just ONE palette that I had to recommend for all ages, skin tones and occasions then this would probably be it. The colours are beautiful, effortless, golden tones that will take you from day to night. The pigmentation is vibrant and the texture is creamy and blendable. The four colours in the palette can be worn on their own or mixed and matched to create numerous different looks. When I received this I thought it was going to be a lot larger but actually it’s the perfect sized palette to travel with. I can’t wait to try out some looks with this palette this Autumn/ Winter.
Matte Revolution Lipsticks
Bond Girl is the perfect, every day shade that will suit a majority of skin tones. It is a neutral pink with brown undertones. It feels comfortable on the lips but still dries matte. It lasts around 6 hours and doesn’t dry my lips out. Glastonberry is one for the evenings or an Autumn/ Winter shade. It’s a bold deep purple plum that applies very evenly and again isn’t drying. The angled shape of the lipstick makes it especially easy to draw detailed lines. In the pictures below I’m wearing Bond Girl on the left and Glastonberry on the right.
All in all I’m really pleased with my first Charlotte Tilbury purchases and I will 100% be buying more. Yes, her product range is expensive but you are honestly getting all that you paid for. The quality of the products are great and not to mention the rose gold, weighty packaging that is both luxurious and absolutely gorgeous.
Have you tried any Charlotte Tilbury products before? What would you recommend I try next?

Fantastic choices for first Charlotte Tilbury items! I really like the look of that palette – I saw it in person at the store and the shimmers are a bit over the top for me personally – they’d make good toppers in the center of the lids. Both lipstick look great on you – I think Bond Girl would suit just about everyone! You should try her blusher next! (that’s what I want to get myself, ha!)

Ooo I had the same predicament. Bond Girl is a lot more brown I think, it really reminds me of Gerard Cosmetics 1995 if that helps?! Jay x
