Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a lovely Sunday. I went out for a coffee earlier with one of my good friends and we took a trip to the department store where I picked up this cream blush.
This is the Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks from Bobbi Brown in the colour Powder Pink (6) and it cost £19.00.
First lets talk about the packaging. As with all Bobbi Brown makeup this compact comes in the sleek black packaging with a mirror on the top making it perfect for touch-ups on the go. The texture of this is extremely emollient and oily which makes application a dream. It is best applied with your fingers or a soft blush brush. On the lips this has the texture of a moisturising lip balm.
The colour of this cream blush is very different to most pink blushes, it’s a soft pink with a brown undertone which makes it look very grown up. It leaves an extremely dewy, “expensive” finish on the cheeks. If you have very oily skin this is probably a no-go for you because the formula contains castor oil, also if you have sensitive skin you should avoid this as it contains perfume. The colour pay-off is subtle but can be built up.
Overall I am loving this blush, I often find pink blushes a bit too bright and garish. If you’re looking for a more mature way to wear pink then this is the way forward. If you’re someone who touches their face a lot then you will need to reapply this blush as it rubs off easily.

Would you recommend this for fair skin tones? Love the look of this! x

Hi 🙂 I’d definitely recommend this for fairer skin tones, my skin tone is probably the darkest that could pull this shade off but it’d look beautifully natural on paler skin.
